(Source: Central Bank of Ireland) Loans and other credit Household loan repayments exceeded drawdowns by €472 million during October 2013, following a net monthly increase of €37 million in September. Developments in October were driven by a fall in loans for house purchase and loans for consumption purposes of €271 million and €206 million, respectively. Meanwhile, non-housing, non-consumption related loans recorded a positive net flow of €6 million over the month. On an annual basis, lending to Irish households continued to fall.
